Dr. Marian Peters is one of the Community Care Clinic’s
original founders and the Clinic Director. She holds a BS in Mathematics
and Physics from North Carolina Central University. She also holds a PhD
in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master
of Medical Science from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Although
Ms. Peters officially began her new duties as Clinic Director on November

the development of the Community Care Clinic. She has been serving in an
unpaid capacity as the primary healthcare provider since its inception in
2005. In addition to the myriad of duties involved in providing direct patient
care, Ms. Peters serves as the liaison between the Clinic and the larger
medical community in our area to facilitate and expand the coordination
of services and care for Clinic patients.
